Day two continued with excellent sets from all three of the above mentioned bands. Zola “Nika” Jesus’ vocals were pretty incredible, extremely polished live sound, the natural elements blended extremely well with her programming. Patrick Wolf went all acoustic, playing a harp and ukulele, again showcasing his vocals, which were in rare form in the church converted into a venue for his set. I had assumed School of Seven Bells were pretty overrated, but I figured they’re right in front of me, and I’d give them another shot. I’m not that familiar with much of their music, but clearly they decided they’d play all of their good shit tonight and I was pretty damn impressed. Their sound was a lot sharper and more focused that what I had previously heard. There’s some pretty badass photos of all three artists in the gallery below.
