This album was written 7 days, 1 song each evening. We’ll call this the Polaroid process. This one goes back to the beginning of the year. An oversight in my rather cluttered existence. Brilliance seems to always find its way to me even if on a 4 month delay.
Straight from the press release:
The spectrum of Jonny Teardrop has been wandering for a long time now near Flesh and Bones. Musician and talented visual artist, inhabited by an undeniably punk spirit, here delivers an album which special recording process does emphasize its verve and pure creation vitality.
Indeed, seven days and behind closed doors, he wrote and produced a song a day, regardless of the recording technique, and daily posted on the web to scrupulously stick to the nature of his project.
Of this week’s hermitage result seven tracks, resolutely evolving and difficult to put in a box, if indeed we would have to do it. Between noise and dream pop, between electro and grunge, between no wave and goth rock… Between these variables oscillates a gem’s album.”
